Quick Getaway

Yesterday Albert, Kaeden and I took our friend Mary and went for a drive in the mountains for a quick get-away for the day. We wanted to go up into the mountains to see the colors of the aspen. Well at the last minute I decided to go to Aspen and that area to see it. I had never been to Aspen. Mary said well then you have to see the Maroon Bell's. We had a wonderful time. It may have been cut shorter than planned because the storm clouds gathered as we arrived. We were sprinkled on and then the storm went the other direction. We wanted to hike to a different lake but with the unsure weather, we opted for the short mile hike. We found some beautiful shots. I love using my new camera. It is so fun. I just clicked and clicked away. I haven't weeded out the photos yet and and working to figure out which ones to weed out. I am hoping to take a photography class. Tomorrow at school, the Jim Lehrer of McNeil and Lehrer, new crew, will be filming from our school. Should be on the national news tomorrow night. We are watching the President's speech. I am thrilled to see if the kids get the message. Create discussion into critical thinking.

Beginning to Blog

Ok! I have always been somewhat tech savvy but it isn't until now that I decided to begin a blog. I am not sure the purpose of the blog or who I will share it with. Happy Labor Day Weekend to all out there in cyperland. Kaeden spent the day at grandma's and I got a pedicure. What an awesome day.
